Auckland

Auckland is located around two large ports and is the central city in the north of North Island of New Zealand. In the city centre, the famous Sky Tower boasts views of the Viaduct Harbor, full of mega yachts, lined with cafes and bars. The Auckland Domain, oldest park of the city, is home to the official Stunning Gardens and is located around an extinct volcano. Near the city centre, Mission Bay Beach has a seaside walkway.

Polynesian and Maori history on Auckland Island is explored in the Auckland Museum, and Polynesian Market of Otara in southern Auckland sells handicrafts and local food. World designer boutiques and trendy stores in the Ponsonby area along Nuffield Street allow more buying options. At Toi o Tāmaki Art Gallery, over 10,000 European and Kiwi works are displayed from the 14th century to the present. Sea Life Aquarium of Kelly Tarlton has a gallery of penguin colonies and gives an opening to dive or snorkel with sharks.

Auckland – also known as Tamaki Makaurau- has become one of the most liveable cities in the world, growing a beauty for its destination.
