Dubai is an emirate and city in the United Arab Emirate. The Burj Khalifa, an 830-meter tall tower, dominates the sky filled with skyscrapers. At its base is the Dubai Fountain, with lights and jets dancing to the music. Atlantis, The Palm, is a resort with marine animal and water parks on artificial islands.

Whereas Dubai’s sleepy fishing village is seen in the historic neighbourhood of Al Fahidi, in the restored quarter of houses with wind towers in the late 1800s, and at the Dubai Museum, 18th century Al Fahidi Fort.
