Nepal

Nepal is a country between Tibet and India and is famous for the Himalayas (Mount Everest) and its temples. In Kathmandu, the capital, there is an old neighbourhood that relates Buddhist and Hindu shrines. Around Kathmandu Valley is Swayambhunath, a Buddhist pagoda with resident monkeys; Boudhanath, the vast Buddhist stupa; Causes of the burning of Hindu dead bodies and temples in Pashupatinath; and the feudal city of Bhaktapur.

There are several colourful festivals in Nepal during monsoons that are honoured on the lunar calendar. If you were in Nepal during the rainy season, being part of these festivals can be a lifelong experience for you.
