Phuket

Phuket, which is a mountainous rainforest island in the Andaman Sea, has some of the most popular beaches in Thailand. It is located mainly along the clear waters of the western shore. The island is home to many fine restaurants, beach resorts, and spas. Phuket, the capital, has bustling markets and antique shops. Moreover, Patong, the central tourist city, has many discos, bars, and nightclubs.

Patong Beach is spacious and bustling with activity, with vendors providing umbrellas for rent, lounge chairs and a diversity of water sports. The beaches of Rawai and Karon, near the southern end of the island, and its eastern and northwestern beaches of the island, are less developed and quiet. Phuket is also famous for diving between coral reefs and the islands adjacent to Phang Nga Bay and the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project, which includes caves and limestone cliffs. Other charms include Phuket Big Buddha Statue and Wat Chalong Buddhist Complex.

Phuket is one of the most beautiful beach destinations in the world, with vibrant towns, magnificent white sands, sparkling sea, and gesture palm trees. It has something for any budget and taste with hundreds of party and dining options.
